"Jerry Patton and State Farm's Insurance are the reason insurance attorneys thrive. I paid my six month auto premium but received numerous additional bills during this period. Jerry Patton said that he would take care of these additional payments, but when the insurance was canceled all Jerry Patton could suggest is that we meet. Beware of slick salesmen that offer a smile and a handshake rather than service and responsibility."
"Hi Mr. Byrne, I’m sorry to hear how frustrating this experience has been—that’s never the impression we want to leave. We did have several back-and-forth conversations to address the billing concern, and I want to restate clearly what occurred so there’s no confusion. The additional one time billing you received was tied to the cancellation of your home policy per your request. Once that policy was removed, the auto/home multiline discount was also removed by underwriting, which resulted in an adjusted premium on your auto policy. At no point was our intent to leave this unresolved. In fact, I offered to meet with you in person so we could review your billing history together line-by-line. In my experience, that face-to-face approach helps bring clarity to situations that can feel confusing over email alone. Your auto policy remains in force through the date we previously communicated, so there is still time to review everything and make sure all questions are fully answered. "We have had several State Farm agents over the years, but the Staff and Service at Jerry Patton's agency is hands down the best. There is always someone available to help, and if they can't answer your question right away, get back to you in a timely manner. For instance, Lisa P was able to work through changing our car insurance over to our new vehicle within just a few minutes today. Without her skill and efficiency we might have spent the rest of the day at the dealership, rather than back home with our new car."

"Jerry Patton was my agent for less than 3 months. I felt like I had to call him non stop because my insurance was listed as invalid with the MVD and my registration was suspended and then revoked. This whole time, I believed Jerry was submitting the proof of insurance and some error was happening, and that he was really working on it. Well today, we got a resolution. He submitted the proof of insurance. For the first time. My insurance is now listed as valid. My vehicle registration status is active. All Jerry needed to do was make one phone call, or send one email, or mail one proof of insurance. Jerry says “ We are doing our best to help you clean up the account that landed in our office”. When I pointed out he had done nothing other than fail to complete one task for over two months, Jerry took offense and transferred me to a different agent. Good luck Jerry Hi Jerry, I thought I would respond to some of the inaccuracies I see in your response. The email I sent that contained “please just transfer me to the next agent” was after you had already threatened to transfer my account. My State Farm agent retired- over 10 years and I never met him and never had an issue. I was transferred to another agent and my registration was revoked due to “invalid insurance” and that agent also did not submit that insurance for 2-3 months until I complained and was transferred to you. You assured me that wouldn’t happen with you, but it did. As far as face to face meetings, we were waiting to resolve the “invalid insurance” before making any policy changes. Yesterday, when you suggested meeting, I agreed immediately. Obviously the meeting to discuss the invalid insurance was unnecessary as you did resolve that. Currently, I am a happy customer. All I ever asked you to do was validate the insurance with NM MVD/ IIDB. I think your ego has gotten in the way here. And finally, your last sentence is as untrue as the rest- you are no longer my State Farm agent and no longer able to assist me."

When you transferred to my office, due to you not being satisfied with your other agents service, I invited you to come in to my office so we could review your account together and ensure everything was set up correctly. I extended the same invitation again today so we could go over the timeline of the work completed and the communications we had with the MVD on your behalf. You chose not to schedule that review on both occasions, and your response was “please just transfer me to the next agent”. The invitation remains open. My goal is always to help our customers understand their coverage and resolve any concerns as quickly and clearly as possible. If you would like to take me up on my offer, I am happy to assist anytime. Thank you, Jerry"
